JANESSA'S BIRTHDAY PARTY 12/27/2008

She actually turns 7 on 12/28/2008. It was a blizzard outside so many people did not come and many were sick. But we had a blast with a dog theme party. We had pin the tail on the dog, which Nana drew a cute picture for, musical dog bones, and find the dog bones on your hands and knees. Janessa's teacher Mrs. Brown was actually able to come. She was a lot of fun!


HERE IS HANNAH MONTANA............JANESSA
Musical dog bones...............First game was Caroline/Carter and cousin Austin! The other kids on the fireplace behind were in the dog pound. Second game was Mia and Gracie!

Ken and I made dog cakes. His was on the right and mine on the left. Janessa was asked which cake she liked better and she said dad's, but then she said "oh but I like them both". We had fun decorating the cakes together!

This Mia with her cut lip. On Christmas day we went to see Grandpa at Bridgeview and she landed on the ice with her face. Ouch!

MURRY THE SNOWMAN ON CHRISTMAS DAY 2008

I thought it would be fun to go out and play in the snow. It was blowing and snowing. It was cold, but we have never all laughed so hard. Here is the beginning as Amber was trying to take my glove off.

I started from the bottom of the hill with the frozen snow and rolled it up hill.

The girls thought they would roll around in the snow.

This was the beginning of Murry the snowman.

This was when I tried to get Murry the snowman's body together. I stopped and laid down in the snow and made a snow angel. Mia wanted her hat off. Janessa wanted her coat off. Amber wanted my gloves.

Then Murry was done!!!

We were headed in when Janessa says "MOM NANA FELL". I turn around and Bear had pulled Nana down. I was laughing so hard. Nana was laughing so hard that she could not get up and there stood bear. I had to have a picture!!

As they were doing their stockings I heard this SLURP.....

Amber was anxiously awaiting her stocking. So Janessa took care of her and Bear the guest!

In their stockings were these cute nightgowns. They loved them!

PRESENTS FROM SANTA.....

We had a lazy morning. We watched the snow fall outside and the Christmas parade on TV. Then we had pictures looking pretty for Christmas dinner after dad got off work!

WE ARE SO BLESSED. WE HAD A WONDERFUL CHRISTMAS DAY!

OPENING PRESENTS CHRISTMAS EVE 2008

While I was making dinner the girls put on these hats and played Santa.



Then we headed downstairs to open all the presents by the fire. We have Nana stay overnight every Christmas Eve with her dog Bear (THE MOOSE). We actually got to keep her two nights. It was wonderful. We opened presents Christmas Eve because dad had to work super early Christmas morning. Janessa had made a present for Mom and Dad at school. She had about five cards that she had made us at school. She made dad an ornament and mom a necklace! So neat. She was so proud.

Mia had wanted this doll since she saw it on a commercial a month ago. She was so happy. Nana could not open it fast enough!

Fuz fit perfectly in the box. We all ran to bed when we all heard Santa's sleigh bells ringing outside. Mia started to cry as she did not want Santa to stay. WE HAD A WONDERFUL CHRISTMAS EVE NIGHT.
