MIA HAS HER TONSILS OUT 4/23/10

Mia was getting a lot of sore throats. So Ken took her in and the doctor said yes the one on the right was really big so they should come out. She had lab work and then 2 days later she had them removed. She was not very happy when she woke up but really angry that she hurt. She has a temper! She did great though. The doctor while she was under anesthesia and she was waiting dressed her stuffed dog named Fluffy with a mask, hat, booties, and Co-Flex. The doctor also packed Mia's purse (that she has always carried since she was 1) with bandages, Co-Flex, and sterile dressing. It was so priceless. What a wonderful doctor.

We came home and later that day here was Mia playing doctor on the couch to me....with Sanitizer and Co-Flex.
She also took care of Izzy also by wrapping her leg.

FIRST TIME IN THE POOL 4/17/10

Well the pool was cleaned and filled. It still has not been that warm to get back in. The girls were so excited that they had to try. Needless to say they did not stay in that long.....Mia and Janessa.

ADAM COLPACK FROM KMVT NEWS COMES TO JANESSA'S SCHOOL TO PRESENT WEATHER 4/15/10

Janessa's class got to learn about weather from the Meteorologist Adam Colpack from KMVT news. She was so excited. He told the whole class that they would be on TV. So here is her with her weather information.
Then on TV news at 6:00! She was so excited and proud. She is in the back on the right.

She learned so much. What a great experience for her!

SPRING CONCERTS AT SCHOOL FOR JANESSA AND MIA 4/13/10

A fun time of year with spring singing concerts. The first was Mia's in the morning. This is her really good friends Bo, then Mia, then Brooke, and the little boy that just jumped in the picture!

US GIRLS AND OUR HAIR 4/10/10

We went out and got our hair done. Mia the normal just the trim. Janessa added bangs to the side. And me....well I had a brown with a tinge of purple, but my blonde hair definitely absorbed the purple. It was fun for a change.

We had a lot of fun!! The girls said "pictures again mom...really???"

2ND GRADE HAGERMAN FISHING TRIP 04/07/10

Janessa's 2nd grade class field trip was a fishing trip in Hagerman. Ken got to volunteer to go and help. He said it was a lot of fun but the girls did not want to touch the worms but wanted to fish. These are some of Janessa's class friends......

EASTER MORNING 04/04/10

The Easter bunny brought the girls stuff while they stayed with Nana all night.

EASTER FUN WITH SPECIAL FRIENDS 04/02-04/03/10

We had Alana and Natalie over to spend the night. We went to the movie The Last Song with Miley Cyrus, then in the morning to Home Depot to make butterfly houses, then to an Easter Egg hunt, and then Easter crafts.

Then we all met Dave, Cindy, Mari, and Matthew for an Easter Egg Hunt. It was freezing...but they had a blast.

Then we headed to the church for Easter crafts. It was fun filled with hot dogs, face painting, coloring, making lambs, bunnies, cards, pictures, magnets, and book marks.
