Janessa was not feeling well in this picture. She was half asleep and so was the kitten!

MIA GRADUATES FROM PRE-K 05/21/2009

Mia graduated from Pre-K. This was graduation night with singing and diplomas. She would be singing and then she would stop and wave and smile at us! It was adorable. Janessa took these pictures as the whole room was full! She did a great job! Mia is the second from the left. The little girl in the white behind her is Hannah and the little girl next to her on the right in the pink dress is Jaylyn, her two favorite little friends!
I asked Ken and Janessa to smile before it started and I got a silly picture!
Mia is so excited to go to school with Janessa in August!!!

THE GIRLS IN THE POOL ALREADY 05/17/09

Well it is time for the pool at our house so the girls think! It is all set up and the girls had been waiting for a warm day. I went to Boise with a friend and I told them when I got back it should be warm enough to swim, so they held me to it!
Janessa....

Ken and I were not brave enough. It is not that warm yet but they had a blast!

MOTHER'S DAY 05/10/2009

Mother's Day for me was wonderful. I was first woken up by the girls sitting on me. Janessa yelling "Close your eyes mom" and Mia saying "Mom...Mother's Day is finally here!" They both made Mother's Day gifts at school. So I opened gifts and made breakfast. We were headed outside for a lot of yard work. Ken was so sick with a bug...."they think the Swine Flu", so we stayed far away :(! We worked out in the yard and then I was in the pool up to my knees in nice green algae water, but it will be beautiful when we are done. Then Nana came over for dinner. Then us girls went to my friends' house. Janessa and Mia each picked her out a flower and a beautiful card.

All I have to say is Mother's Day is simply a blessing. It is amazing what an amazing mother can do for a person!! My mother is the best. She is a great person, listener, friend, and most of all a wonderful NANA! The girls cherish the time they get to spend with her.
This is Ken after way too much medication!!!
Mia's present was a beautifully painted jewelry box full of bath salt. She said "Mom I painted it all by myself". It was so cute! On the gift wrap it said......

Mommy~Somehow we always say the least to those we love the best
And hope our thoughts are understood even though they're unexpressed.
That's why it means so much when days like this are here,
To say how very much that you are loved all through out the year.
Love, MIA
Janessa made a book and had a beautiful flower in a pot with paper around the pot with writing and stickers. She was so proud! Her book read....

Little bluebirds have a mom to feed them worms and bugs,
and little bunnies have a mom to give them bunny hugs.
Little kittens have a mom to help them wash their face.
Little puppies have a mom to keep them in their places.
Bet they'd say their moms were swell if they could only tell us.
But I guess it's good they don't know you cause gosh they would be jealous. Love, JANESSA
I love my girls more than life itself!! Thank you for a wonderful Mother's Day girls!
