SANTA AT THE MALL 11/28/2008

We braved the mall for a little bit today. Santa was at the mall and there was no line....so I could not pass it up. The girls had new shirts. Mia did not want to at first but she walked right up there! Janessa said I will go with you and you do not have to sit on his lap Mia!

THANKSGIVING 2008

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving at our house this year. Uncle Creg stayed with grandpa so grandma could come. The girls had grandma jump roping and playing Bingo before she left. They really enjoyed her.

The girls wore the special dresses from grandma. I love this picture!

The girls were just taking pictures of Fuz! After about 20 of them these were the best two.
HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE!

MIA'S THANKSGIVING PRESENTATION AT SCHOOL WITH DINNER 11/25/2008

Mia's school Agape had a Thanksgiving presentation with dinner. So all the classes grades Pre-K to 3rd all made a different soup and then they had turkey too. They printed out soup recipe books for the parents. It was a great idea! This was Mia before the presentation. Thank you June for such an adorable outfit, and yes she wore the socks!!!
This picture was in Mia's classroom.
This was taken by Mia!
They were putting on their turkey hats. This is Janessa, Mia's friend Sage, Ms. Mindy, and Mia!
Mia was walking up to the stage. She had so much air in her mouth....a little nerves I guess!
Right at the beginning of the presentation Mia realized we were in the audience. She threw her hands up in the air and then blew a kiss. Everybody went ahh....!

This was after the presentation on the way to dinner!

GREAT JOB MIA!

Mia and Dad 11/22/2008

Mia's Ice Cream Party Box

Mia's Pre-K class did so well that Mrs. Mindy wanted to give them a party. So each student had to make an ice cream box to sit in with a blanket. Then at school they would sit in the box and watch movies and have ice cream. Mia loved decorating the box with hot glue. She said "Mom this is kind of fun with this HOT, HOT, HOT Glue!"

Of course Fuz had to be in the picture too!!!

How precious is this?

It was Monday morning (11/17/2008). A long weekend after having colds for us girls. I had taken Mia to the doctor on Friday. He had prescribed some medicine. They said a couple days for it to work. Monday she woke up at her normal time of 5:30 a.m. After we took Janessa to the bus I told Mia I had to get ready. She said she was cold. I said well let me wrap you up and you can watch Diego. After I was finished getting ready this is what I found.......
This was also the same day after she took nap she said "Mom I hate these mosquito bites". I said there are no mosquito's as it is too cold. She said they are all over me mom. As I got closer I realized she was covered in huge hives all over body down to her toes. Well, she had a reaction to the medicine. So the doctor switched her medicine! WHAT A DAY!

A beautiful day outside, 11/15/2008

I raked leaves. Janessa and Mia wanted to plow through them with the jeep.
The jeep got stuck!

Janessa trying to move the jeep over the leaves by swinging back and forth!
Mia....."Hey mom it is working". Janessa wanted to go through the middle of the pile!

TO MY FRIEND JUNE

Whenever I think of you,
I can't help but smile
as I remember the wonderful times
we used to share.
I remember how we would
talk for hours
and never run out of thinks to say
how we laughed at everything
and cried at nothing,
how we dreamed about the future
and never doubted that someday
All those dreams wound come true.
I miss the happy times
we used to share;
I miss having you to confide in
and that special understanding
we shared.
There have been a lot
of changes in our lives since then.
But in spite of the time
and the distance that seperate us,
I think of you often,
and those memories never fail
to brighten up my day.
I wish you happiness. Deep down within.
Serenity. With each sunrise.
Success. In each facet of your life.
Family. Beside you.
Close and caring friends.
Health. Inside you.
Special Memories. Of all the yesterdays.
A bright today. With much to be thankful for.
A path. That leads to beautiful tomorrows.
Dreams. That do their best to come true.
Appreciation. Of all the wonderful things about you!

YOU ARE A SPECIAL FRIEND JUNE AND I MISS YOU ALREADY!

A FUN WEEK WITH JUNE

June came to visit for a week. The first night after dinner was downstairs in her room with lots of make-up!!! Mia had fun doing her make-up!
Janessa wanted to show her the computer program they use at school for William. Two weeks ago Janessa came home and said "can I show you something on the computer mom?" I said sure. She said you click on the "E" for internet explorer and then go to the star for favorites. That is where it is. Why is it not on your computer mom? I told her when she went to school the next day to write down the web address and bring it home, then I would show her. She was so mad I could not get it to work. But the next day she brought it home and she has not quit playing since then!
The before picture before the make-up!

Here is the after picture!!
Janessa came home from school and of course the first thing she grabs is the kitty Fuz!
I made June a early Thanksgiving dinner! Her mom and grandma came with lots of yummy food. Nana came too. I did not manage to get one picture of the family dinner. So you will all have to check her blog page. But here are some pre-dinner pics. Mia had to have a cupcake while the turkey was cooking!
Here go the crumbs.......

Ken and us girls went to Boise with June. We dropped her car off, stayed at the Cambria Suites (beautiful modern hotel), went to the toy store, and ate at Red Robin. One of my pictures of us girls that Ken took did not turn out, but here are some from Red Robin. We had a blast with her here.
WE HOPE YOU HAD A FAST TRIP HOME JUNE! THANKS FOR COMING AND WE ENJOYED THE WEEK WITH YOU! WE ALL MISS YOU JUNE!
