CHRISTMAS IN THE NIGHTTIME SKY 11/27/09

Every year we have gone to the Christmas In The Nighttime Sky the day after Thanksgiving. Twin Falls puts it on. It consists of an unwrapped toy to get in, then there is Santa, a nativity scene, potatoes with chili, pop and hot cocoa, huge bonfires, and fireworks. We went with the whole family this year and the fireworks were amazing. Here is Janessa, then Santa, and then Mia. Janessa was telling Santa she wanted a WowWee stuffed animal. Santa asked Mia (she was so scared to be up there this year) what she wanted this year and she said the same thing as Janessa. Santa asked how will you know whose is whose? They said because they will just know!

THANKSGIVING 11/26/2009

We headed to Thanksgiving at Grandma's house this year....this was Mia and Janessa on the way there!!!

Not all of my pictures turned out...but here is some of us. (Left to right from back) Cousin Brian, his mom Aunt Becky, Aunt Sandy, Grandma, my mom Brenda (Nana), me, then to Mia, Cousin Holly, Janessa, and Cousin Claire (Brian's sister).

They did not plan on purple.....but they matched so of course a picture was in order! Uncle Jim, Aunt Becky, Cousin Holly, Aunt Sandy, and Grandma.

We enjoyed family from Utah and Oregon at Grandma's house this holiday. Nothing is better than the holidays with family. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

THE PRINCESS AND THE PEA 11/21/2009

I asked Janessa if she wanted to be in The Princess And The Pea....she said what? We had just finished the book the night before, so she said yes. We went down on Monday and she tried out. There were 90 kids and 50 kids made it! She was one of them with the part of a Dust Bunny! Five days later here she is with the makeup on. After dress rehearsal she asked me if she could ask them when she could take the costume off. They said after the first show. She said mom we had a break during rehearsal waiting for our turn on stage and it was really wonderful that we were able to get a drink but I could not reach the drinking fountain.....i.e. it was O'Leary Junior High. I said how about a bathroom break....she said why I cannot take this costume off! It was truly a learning experience for her but after it was all over she said she really enjoyed it!

LOOPY BEING A BABY 11/18/09

We were eating dinner one night and Janessa had her baby stroller next to the table with a baby in it and Loopy curled up right on top and went to sleep. So Sweet!

WHAT IS THAT OUTSIDE??? 11/12/2009

All week there have been birds migrating....you look outside it is calm and then so many birds you cannot even imagine. They are out like this morning and night. The girls have loved watching them!

A DAY WITH CARTWHEELS AND HOMEWORK 11/11/09

Well the girls love to do their homework and I love to help.
Earlier in the day it was Mia and cartwheels with dad.

Most of the time Janessa is teaching Mia gymnastics at home. They have a blast doing cartwheels and standing on their heads!

GYMNASTICS 11/10/2009

Well Nana is so wonderful every Tuesday to take the girls to gymnastics but this Tuesday I got to watch so of course pictures.......

Great job girls. Most often I will be walking down the hall at home and there is Janessa standing on her head against the wall. If you ask her why..."I am turning the light on mom with my feet".

CERAMICS TO PAINT FROM GRANDMA 11/08/2009

Grandma gave the girls ceramics to paint. Mia's was Minnie and Mickey and Janessa's was Snow White and Sleeping Beauty. They both finished one.....
