THE PRINCESS AND THE PEA 11/21/2009

I asked Janessa if she wanted to be in The Princess And The Pea....she said what? We had just finished the book the night before, so she said yes. We went down on Monday and she tried out. There were 90 kids and 50 kids made it! She was one of them with the part of a Dust Bunny! Five days later here she is with the makeup on. After dress rehearsal she asked me if she could ask them when she could take the costume off. They said after the first show. She said mom we had a break during rehearsal waiting for our turn on stage and it was really wonderful that we were able to get a drink but I could not reach the drinking fountain.....i.e. it was O'Leary Junior High. I said how about a bathroom break....she said why I cannot take this costume off! It was truly a learning experience for her but after it was all over she said she really enjoyed it!
