Grandpa passed away this evening. The girls were so upset. We enjoyed grandpa two weeks ago with all the smiles for Grandma's birthday. They did not want to let Nana or Grandma sleep alone tonight......We love Grandpa dearly and will cherish every memory of him!

I am SO glad you were able to spend some quality time with him a few weeks ago. The pictures you took will be treasured forever. i always tell people to take ALOT of pictures...and eventually they become so priceless. He is watching over you. You are an amazing person and I am positive you will be strong, if not, I am here for you!
Oh Shanna, I commented on you facebook, but I just wanted to say that I am so sorry it sure is tough to lose someone you love. I believe you will see him again. I read his obituary and I wanted to share with you that Todd is from Umatilla, Oregon; it would be interesting to know if your grandpa's brother's family had ever crossed paths because when Todd lived there it was not a big town. That last time I was there it still was not that big that I could recall. Anyway I am rambling I just wanted you to know we are thinking of you.
